There are so many possibilities we have each day to do things in a different and improved way. We have the opportunity every single day to learn, improve, grow, and really live in an amazing way.

The question is are we going to take advantage of those opportunities.

What are we going to choose to do differently TODAY?

I am a huge believer that we can learn so much from many of the great people in the blogosphere. Some of the greatest minds in the world are active in the blogosphere. They are posting their perspectives and sharing their wisdom.

Take a look at these posts that really provide you with things you can realize TODAY or do differently TODAY and know that these insights or changes will really allow you to live TODAY in an amazing way.

5 great pieces of advice that you need today

A classic. A must read and a must do TODAY. Never underestimate the power of just relaxing, calming your mind and breathing. A simple little action that will get you BIG results. Sometimes it really is about the little things you do each day.

2. Do You Have an Upper Limit? – Marie Forleo

How about having an “aha” moment TODAY? This is a great article that will show you how to avoid creating those limiting beliefs that hold you back and are nothing more than self sabotage. You know those times when things are going extremely well, and then for one reason or another, you start working against your own interests. It makes little sense, but it is a reality we may face. Get rid of it TODAY once and for all.

3. An Important Thing No One Will Tell You Chris Guillebeau

I have always believed we are our best advisor and if we can just find our way to our own answers, that is when we are guaranteed to move in the right direction.

This is a great article on the importance of following your own truth and doing what you know deep down is right. Make TODAY the last day you ever question yourself and find your way to always following your intuition and your own truth.

4. You Have A Choice Corbett Barr

Today is the day to take advantage of all the opportunities you have to make choices and do those things you really believe in. Are you interested in a boost of motivation? There’s a lot of power in how the little things add up to the big wins. It’s a great way to chip away at the stone, too.

So true J.D. There is so much power in how the little things we do add up and accumulate in our lives in such a big way. Really great point. Thanks for dropping by and Happy Friday.

Thank you Sibyl for presenting these wonderful and insightful people! I have read each of their posts here.

What seems to ring out is to trust in yourself. To yes have some natural doubt, but to move forward…and yes

“I often ask about the details of the change: “How should I do this?” But I never ask about the vision: “Where am I going?” I already know where I’m going. It’s my life; it’s my plan.

I know that some people will think this is arrogant. But forget about me and just step back to look at your own life. You know yourself better than anyone else ever will. Who else could possibly be qualified to advise you on the business of you? It’s your life and your plan.”

I like this short quote from the poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti regards Danielle Laporte’s post:

“What it takes for great poetry is hunger and passion.”

Thank you for offering us some good *breathing* tips via Leo Babauta!

    My love to you,
    Rand

    Galen Pearl says:

I was just reminding myself to breathe earlier today! So simple. I get hurried and anxious and I breathe so shallowly. All of a sudden I catch myself and take a few deep belly breaths. So calming. If we could just change this one habit of shallow breathing to belly breathing (the way we breathed when we were young), we would do ourselves a world of good! Belly breathing tells our bodies that we are safe and releases all sorts of great feel good chemicals in our brains. Great advice from all 5 posts!

So glad that you liked the articles Galen. Isn’t it just too easy to forget how powerful just stopping and taking deep breaths can really be. It always has such a powerful impact on our lives. It’s all about just unplugging and taking the time to recenter yourself. Thanks for the comment and for dropping by.

    The Vizier says:

    Hi Sibyl,

Learning from others is a great way to improve ourselves. There is so much to learn and so little time for us to learn it. It is impossible to learn everything by trial and error by ourselves. But if we can build on and learn from the experiences of others, we will definitely be able to do a lot more differently and effectively. That said, the list of articles that you have put together are great! The following stand out for me.

    1. Breathe by Leo Babauta

I think Breathe by Leo Babauta is a classic indeed. We can only take so much stress in life before we start to collapse from within. By making a conscious effort to breathe and calm ourselves, we can keep stress at manageable levels and get more done. We must make a conscious effort to find the balance between work and relaxation and breathing can serve as a bridge.

    5. Loving Your Doubts by Danielle Laporte

All of us have experienced doubts in our lives. Danielle’s article is an excellent reminder of how this is a normal part of the process especially for great success. The greater our doubts, the greater the success we are trying to achieve.

Thank you for showing us how to live today better than yesterday! :)
