“Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not exactly how you planned — but perfectly.” Unknown
Are you waiting for something to fall into place? Has there been something you have been trying to make happen and you want the time to come? Are you ready to see things work out?
Well, if you need a sign and some reassurance that everything will work out — then this is it.
This is the sign you have been looking for. This is the confirmation that everything you have been doing is working. There’s a reason you are reading this article (and tons of other people aren’t).
I know that when I am waiting on a result or for something to fall into place, I love getting signs – little whispers from the universe that I should keep going and that I am not crazy for continuing to believe. Sometimes when we have invested a lot of our time, energy and especially our heart into something, we want to be reassured we are moving in the right direction and that what we have worked so hard for is on its way.
Well, that is absolutely the case. More and more great things are going to come your way. Things are going to unfold perfectly for you.
How do I know this?
Things Have A Way of Unfolding Perfectly
Because that’s the way process works. That is what is promised to us. When we have the right intentions, do things genuinely and invest the right amount of effort and time, things have a way of unfolding perfectly.
Granted, that may not mean they will unfold exactly as we planned, but when we step back and look at things from the right perspective, we will see they have unfolded perfectly and just the way we needed them to.
But, you’ve got to make sure you don’t get in your own way. You’ve got to keep the right type of mindset and have the right energy flowing to allow things to continue unfold.
So, today, make sure you have opened yourself up to all the great things you want that are just waiting to come your way.
The Possibility of Today
1. Live Today In The Best Way. Continually make sure you are making your highest and best decisions with everything. No needless drama or conflict with the people around you. Don’t let any distractions interfere with your peace of mind and good energy.
2. Love Today. Appreciate everything you have right now at this exact moment of time. As you move through the day, take notice and appreciate all the things that are already working in your life. Say, “thank you” as many times throughout the day as you can remember.
3. Keep Going and Believing. Reenergize yourself and keep going. Pour all your passion and energy into what you are doing. Do it in the best way that it can be done. Allow all your positive energy (and especially your heart) to flow into what you are doing and positively impact it.
4. Remind Yourself That Everything Unfolds Perfectly. If the “negative committee” in your mind starts acting up, remind yourself that everything is unfolding perfectly. Anytime you notice yourself doubting things or worrying, reel in those thoughts and remind yourself to trust the process and know that everything is unfolding just as it should.
Live Today Better than Yesterday.

Hi Sibyl,
Well if that isn’t perfect timing! Even though I blog about signs and experience them often, I too can get stuck from time to time and it is always encouraging to get encouragement
So glad you like the post Julie. As Vidya said — today really is the day:) Don’t you love when you get the perfect messages at the perfect time?
Indeed, today is the day! Lovely post – Sibyl!
Yeah — that’s what I am talking about Vidya:) Thanks for the comment and for dropping by.
Sibyl,
This is excellent, direct, and exactly what I needed to hear today. So much so that I’m printing it out as a gentle reminder. This is Truth at its finest. Something we know and forget;) xo
Thanks Sibyl,
I was having a lovely day when I received a rude email. I loved your post. #1 resonated with me perfectly and got my good mood back. Thanks! Louise
So glad I could help connect you with your good mood again Louise:) Isn’t it great how you really can focus on the right things and automatically lift your mood — something I do a lot
Thanks for the comment and thanks for dropping by.
Sibyl,
This really resonates with me today. I have been in a little bit of a funk and I appreciate the inspiring message. Sometimes we have to let go and have faith. I like to remain in control instead of letting things happen naturally and fluidly. We can only force so much to happen before the resistance gets to strong. I will let go today and trust that there is a ledge below me!
So glad Joe that the article resonated with you. I know exactly how it feels to be in a bit of a funk and there is nothing better than being able to see it pass through your system:) I am glad that I was able to be a part of the passing for you:) There is absolutely a ledge below you — I see it perfectly:)
Well, just say this to myself everyday in the morning, “Today gonna be a perfect day!” and remember, SMILE!
Regards,
Dennis.
Sounds like a great way to start the day Dennis:) Thanks for the comment and for dropping by.
Thank you for the article. It indeed was the sign I needed today.
The 2-3 and 4 I have been really in touch with. However the 1. Live Today In The Best Way…I have been lacking.
Thank you again!
Katia
So glad you liked it Katia:) Thank you for taking the time to comment and thanks for dropping by. I appreciate it and am glad this article was the sign you needed.
Hi Sibyl,
I have noticed the word “gentle” being shared by our community lately…
“Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.”
~ Desiderata
My boss for work last week purposely selected me for a job of physically ‘pushing buttons’ in an environment where ‘buttons were being pushed’ politically, because in his words “You are the right person”… “You are a good spirit”.
I told him that I work on it every day.
This environment I have had to deal with many years ago in a different work place…the thing is we need to continually update much like updating our anti-virus computer programs.
You are an update. Zeenat, Tess, Joy, Uzma, and many others have been a spiritual update that has kept me *centered*
This Erich Fromm quote fits well with your post:
“Man’s main task in life is to give birth to himself, to become what he potentially is. The most important product of his effort is his own personality.”
This Erich Fromm quote fits well with my own *gentle intention* towards love:
“Immature love says: ‘I love you because I need you.’ Mature love says: ‘I need you because I love you’.
So much thanks and love goes out…
Wow — thanks Rand for the amazing comment and sharing all that wisdom. I loved all those quotes you shared and your story at work. Thanks so much for dropping by and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it:)
Hi, omg perfect timing for me in a few situations, thank you and I love reading your posts xx
So glad Melissa:) I love when messages come at the perfect time and am so glad that this one came at the perfect time for you. Thanks for the comment and thanks for dropping by.
Today I listened to an audio that talked about how setbacks are the Universe’s way of clearing away things that aren’t working for us to make way for the great things we want in our lives. We just have to see then as such.
Signs are everywhere, if we choose to see them. Thanks for this one Sibyl!
Signs really are everywhere:) Thanks so much for dropping by Paige and thanks for taking the time to comment. I love that message about setbacks — so true.
This point in my life I can look back to three different periods when I was ‘The Center of the Universe’, only to suddenly be thrown into a ‘Black Hole’ of misfortune.
This point in my life I can most appreciate this part of Desiderata:
“Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.”
Hey Rand. How have you been? Thanks for the comment and for dropping by. I think those words of wisdom you shared are so powerful — “do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.” It’s all about choosing to see things from the right perspective and not allowing your “negative committee” to convince you to stay down and overlook the amazing things that are always coming your way.
Wow!!! Perfect timing. Thank you for sharing. I was feeling a little depressed today about feeling stuck with reaching my goals. Sometimes I feel like I’m not reaching my goals as fast as I will like too .But after reading your post I feel so much better. My prayers have been answer. Thank you for the great post.
Thank you so much Gwen for the message and the kind words about the post. I know exactly how you feel. I think the best thing we can do when we are waiting to accomplish something or waiting for something to unfold is to really focus on the day right in front of us. I have noticed that when I appreciate and love exactly where I am, the “tomorrow” I am hoping for always comes.
I believe that every hurdle we face in life is for a purpose. It helps us to grow much stronger.
I agree with you:) One of my favorit quotes — You can’t control the waves, but you can learn to surf. John Kabat Zinn. Thanks so much for the comment and for dropping by.
Thank you so much for your endless words of encouragement… This was exactly what I needed to hear today! I have been working as a temp and have submitted numerous applications for a permanent position with our local state university. I love this job and feel at home here but have been second guessing my recent interview. Patience is not one of my strong points so I have to remind myself that GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT…thanks again!
Kim: I think that is a great thing to remind yourself of:) I know exactly what you are referring to because sometimes I just want things to hurry up and unfold, but you really do have to give them the time and space they need to unfold perfectly:) Thanks so much for the comment and for dropping by.
Wow – talk about perfect timing. I have just made a drastic life-altering, scary yet exciting decision, and my biggest fear is the unknown and wondering if I’ve made the right decision? Will everything work out? I have had one or two signs leading up to this that tell me it is the right decision. I’ll take this well-timed article as another sign! Thanks.
So glad that this article came to you at the perfect time Deev. I love, love, love when that happens:) I really appreciate you dropping by and taking the time to comment. Thanks so much.
I always have been off and on with spirituality/religiousness/positive thinking, but since having been diagnosed and beat ovarian cancer at the age of 39, my world has gotten sooo much better from living with positive thoughts and my higher power, God. I love your posts and share them with my friends in hope that they can find the contentment and happiness I have found without having to wait 39 years and without having to face a life threatening illness, and the possibiliy of reccurance to get there!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much Melissa for sharing your story. It really helps us all to hear exactly how integrating the right type of thinking and mindset can positively impact how you live and experience life. Thank you for being an amazing model of that reality:) Thank you also for the kind words about the site and passing it along. I really appreciate it. I love your story about beating Cancer — You are an inspiration:)
Sibyl,
What a wonderful post! I just shared it on Facebook with a rose unfolding with your wonderful quote, “Things Have A Way of Unfolding Perfectly”. I, too, am constantly looking for signs. Do you find them because you’re looking or are the signs there for you to find?
Thank you for being my sign today!!
I’m looking and also they some times just fall right into my lap.
Isn’t that just the best?
Hey Betsy — Thanks for dropping by. I would say the answer to your question is a little bit of both. I think the signs are usually there, but I have noticed unless I am looking, I will overlook them or minimize them. So, I try really hard to always keep it top of mind to keep an eye open for even the smallest of signs:)

You are more than welcome Indran:)
Thanks, this is something we have to remind ourselves of everyday.
So very true Indran:) Glad you liked the post and thanks for taking the time to comment.
This was the perfect message at the perfect time! Then yesterday I read an article about Michael J. Fox who said something about how pointless it is to worry because “if something bad does happen, then you’ve lived it twice.” Thanks for the optimistic outlooks everyone.
Hey Sharon: Thanks so much for the comment and for dropping by. I love that quote from Michael J. Fox. It really is right on point:) Thanks for sharing it here. I appreciate it.
I read all the articles sent by you and always TRY to think positive – I am thankful for every morning I awake to sunshine or rain and ALWAYS have that SMILE

Hi Sibyl,
I see “Everything is already Ok” written on the mirror of the yoga studio I attend, and your post reminded me of that message. When we carry that positive attitude with us, we go through life feeling optimist and fearless. Very inspirational post. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
I am so grateful for your posts and insight into lifes troubles and problems. You prove that many of them don’t even exist or either we are the creator of them ourselves. You are a great help to me and I can never do enough to repay you. Thank you so much for being there for me in these tough times. Much love to you!!
Thanks Joe for the kind words:) I really appreciate it and am glad you are liking what you are reading. I apologize for my delayed response. I have been traveling:) Thanks again for dropping by.

WOW.
I asked my Angels to give me a SIGN today! And now just as I’m about to go to bed…your red photo grabbed my attention and led me to read your blog!
Thank you.
I enjoyed reading this article as things have started unfolding for me an i know more things are going to unfold and i await gods glory. sometimes i get impatient but i know nothing happens before its time.
Michelle: Thanks so much for the comment and taking the time to stop by. I am so glad that you enjoyed the article and you are right — everything is already unfolding:)
I have met this man that I like. I have seem him a few times. We used to call each other everyday since we first hook up. I went on his job over a week and a half ago. I did not notify him that I was coming. He told me not to come on his job without letting him know that I am coming. He said I must be lonely. I told him I will never do that again. Things were never the same again for us. He has stop calling me. I called him the last time one week ago and ask why I have not been hearing from him. He told me that he did not forget about me and he was very busy looking for a car. He also told me that he is going to call me. He said he would be calling me back after he leave the dealership.. For over a week, He has not called me. I want to know if this is a sign that he do not want to be bother with me anymore. People had told me not to call him. People said do not let that man think that I am desperate. So I do not call him. I have been waiting for him to call me. The day after I last call him. I did sent him a text message stating that I have been thinking about him. For some reasons I can not get this person off my mind. What do you think of the situation? Do you think one day he will call me back? I could not help from wondering what on this man mind.
Thanks so much for stopping by and thanks for the comment. Wow, I wish I could tell you the answer to your question. I can tell how much you want this relationship to work out, but I can’t tell you if he will call you back. What I would say though is one thing I know for sure – everything works out just the way it’s meant to. And, that also means that one of the best things you can do is trust that and turn your attention to yourself and what you can control. I know how heavy it can feel when you are worried about what other people will do and I’ve realized the best thing I can do is just focus on my actions and the moment in front of me. It’s just about really trying to be thoughtful and make decisions that you know reflect who you really are and then you have to be open to how things unfold. I hope that helps:) Thanks again for the comment and for dropping by.
