You know what I’ve realized … when it comes down to it, many of us are in the same boat. We all want to live the life we’ve imagined for ourselves and feel really good as we live it.

Would you say that’s true for you too?

I know it is for me and when I realized almost six years ago that something was “off”, I also knew I had to find the solution.

I wasn’t sure what specifically was “wrong”, but I knew my life was not supposed to be about working a lot but never feeling like I was getting enough done, worrying about one thing or another, stressing about the future, and questioning if I was doing everything I was meant to be doing.

I just knew that couldn’t be the way things were supposed to play out. You’re not meant to go through life feeling as if there is “Something More”.

Have you ever looked back on your life and realized you had a turning point? You unknowingly had been travelling in the wrong direction, but then something kind of shook you awake and you realized you needed to do an immediate U-turn?

Well, I can honestly recall several of these turning points in my life and fortunately somehow – someway I was always able to make changes and get back on track.

One time that stands out in my mind was when I was still working as an attorney. I had invested so much of my time, energy and attention to my career that it overshadowed everything else.

But, one day it all changed.

After getting home from a long day of work, I decided I would relax for awhile. I plopped down on my couch and watched some television. I ended up watching a show about the importance of having balance in your life.

Do you feel there are more possibilites out there for you? It’s not that you’re not grateful for everything you have, but you just feel like there’s something more.

This used to be a recurring thought that would consistently weigh on my mind. The problem was I also felt stuck and wasn’t really sure if there was anything that could really be done about it.

I can remember laying in bed late at night really wanting to be sleeping, but instead I was awake, stressed, staring into the darkness listening to all the thoughts continually running through my mind –
